Hydrogen is WAAAAY too dangerous for an F1 car. There is no technology on planet Earth that can prevent a fuel cell rupturing from a 150 mph crash. The best option in this V8 scenario is natural aspiration, requiring less cooling, with a supplemental hybrid system providing a significant portion of the power.

You never know how hard you can push it without pushing it too far a lil bit sometimes.

Done this on the 4lane coming home from work once. I was pushing it at about 80-85 mph and knew I was pushing it but as long as I didn’t hit a lot of water running across the road I was good. Coming up over a little hill and boom big path of water running across. I wrecked for 1/4 mile and luckily never touched a thing.
